Utopia & Dystopia

This project started with the theme of how emotions affect visual perception. People perceive the same scene differently depending on the emotional state. I visualized this change in emotional vision through a 3D visual experiment space. It started with the concept of utopia and dystopia, but noted that there is no clear boundary that separates the two. Emotions change a fixed structure, and the appearance of the world becomes fluid accordingly. The installed space is designed to be read differently according to the emotional state of the viewer, and the height of gaze, lighting, distance, color, etc. changes according to the emotion. In other words, it attempted an interactive structure in which emotions change vision, and vision changes emotions again. In other words, visual experience is not objective but constantly reconstructed by emotions. Ultimately, this work asks the question, "The way you see is how you feel." And that question soon leads to an awareness of how we perceive the world.
